Kid Cudi & Keri Hilson On The Cover of the Next Complex Magazine

Tey went HARD for it's 5th Annual "Style & Design" Issue.

Kid Cudi's artist was graf artist Augor. The video segment was ill as fuck and I can't wait for the issue to drop.

I think Keri's GORGEOUS, but I'm not fully sold on her versatility (style, music, and beauty) yet. She's kind of one-dimensional to me.... But on the other hand, my boy SoMe did the artwork for her spread (Noted for his work on Kanye's "Good Life", Justice's "D.A.N.C.E.", and Kid Cudi's "Day'N'Nite" among others)

Here's Keri's spread. Just follow the link.

The issue also features stories on Kaws, Where The Wild Things Are, Amber Rose and more. so don't slip up and miss out cuz inspiration will come once again and they're definitely stepping up the standard with the art this issue.

Style Sages: Domenico "Mimmo" Spano

As Saks Fifth Avenue's suiting guru, Mimmo Spano knows a thing or two about enduring style. As for fashion? Well, he likes that about as much as he likes casual Fridays. Here's what he has to say:

Fashion? It changes.... Style? It never changes.

"M@R$ Says", Volume 1: We Need Each Other

Yo.... On the real... I woke up at 6:30 am my time and been on the move till 11pm that night. I have nothing but dedication toward success and the betterment for anyone I care for. I helped my uncle out at that NACA event for a whole 'nother work shift's worth of time but I didn't care because I helped him make his life a little easier from here on out. And I told my parents, friends, I'm gonna tell the WORLD: HELP THOSE IN NEED!!!

Whatever good you do, it shall come back twofold so don't stress off of the have's and have-not's because your very own neighbors could smile to you EVERYDAY when you see one another outside of home, but behind those doors, life could be unbearable and the one thing that makes their day is YOUR smile and handshake or wave!!

Life's too short for us to not cherish, explore, experiment, and (most importantly) ENHANCE! We help one another make life worth living- not OURSELVES, but the others that compliment the simple things which make life pleasurable anyway. So sometimes, GIVE that spare change to the homeless, for it is not YOUR issue or sin if they were to use that money wisely.

We have to learn to do good deeds without thought or reckon. Without expectation of praise. Without worry or question of reward. We must do to beat time. A good deed ALWAYS has a sense of urgency attached, because if you don't take the opportunity to do it, it could be the difference of life and death in the most extreme of cases, or the difference between tears of joy or tears of sorrow.

So do what's right because it's the right thing to do at any given moment and not for any other reason.

NACA's "Save the Dream" - Mortgage Restructuring and Renegotiation Rescues Homeowners

Sorry I didn't get to post much but I was at an arena FULL of home owners for something by this organization called NACA.... Most of my followers aren't of age to own a house yet, but you've got family that does!! At least friends!!! Spread the word!! EVERYBODY should at least apply!!! They are changing lives!!! And with more people following them, they can help turn this housing issue in America back into a positive and help get our economy rolling again!!

Pimpin' Snooky: "Put The Hoe Boots On"

Part 2 of my 2-part series on my role model- Pimpin' Snooky

In this scene: Pimpin' Snooky talks about his philosophy with a fellow pimp. He also shows out at the Player's Ball and tries to take a hoe (Velvet) from a lesbian pimp (Tangia). From the movie "Pimps Up, Ho's Down"

"He got two hoes with they head down, I got THREE with ME!! And you ain't gotta hold ya' head down unless I say so!!"~ Velvet

Souls Of Liberty: "Up & Down" (feat. Drake)

This track is pretty dope... I fuck with it hella hard. I remember when I FIRST heard their work and I noticed potential but also the needed practice. I see them growing now.

Here's their first mixtape. Another one will be dropping soon!! Support St. Louis!!
(As I head out the crib to support local hero, Black Spade who's opening for Lupe Fiasco today)

Official "Coco Before Chanel" Trailer

"Coco Before Chanel" is the story of Gabrielle Coco Chanel, who began her life as headstrong orphan, and through an extraordinary journey became the legendary couturier who embodied the modern woman and became a timeless symbol of success, freedom and style. The film portrays the formative years of Chanels life, the years of Chanel spent discovering and inventing herself.

In theaters: September 25, 2009
Starring: Audrey Tautou, Benoit Poelvoorde, Marie Gillian, Alessandro Nivola, Emmanuelle Devos

I kinda wish it was an English translation being shown in America but either way my jaw DROPPED when I saw this trailer and I will DEFINITELY be seeing this flick. I'm expecting it to be as good as "The Devil Wears Prada" (which was PHENOMENAL to say the least)

Travis Porter: "Stupid Adlibs"

Me and my squad been bummping this for MONTHS and I put my boy Christian on this back during last semester... But I don't think I ever put the world on to Travis Porter..

They pretty hot. Some young cats doing they thing down in the ATL. I fuck with most of the music. It's catchy and makes you dance and bounce. Fuck with them and download the mixtapes too from their MySpace.

And the first track I got introduced to them with was "Black Boy, White".... Check out the trailer below. It's pretty funny and sure to be a hit.
