Nike SB “Skate Mental” Dunk Hi

Making their way towards another run at the top this season, Nike SB partner up with Skate Mental on a second sneaker design, this time utilizing the classic Dunk Hi. The shoes are given a mostly Brown suede finish with White and Light Blue accents. Now available for pre-order through CCS.

Lanvin Patchwork Work Trainer

I'm DEFINITELY a huge fan of these.... All black EVERYTHING!! LOL

Real talk though, these are Lanvin, so they're not cheap as it is.... then on top of that, they've got one of he best designs I've seen for this sort of sneaker in a while... They're kinda dressy/casual.




The sneaker comes in a black/navy suede colorway with patchwork pattern on the upper. The toe box and heel are covered in black patent leather. Yet another solid release from the French brand, you can purchase it now from Browns.

Vans Surf Fall 2009 Collection

We take a closer look at the Vans Surf Fall 2009 Collection. The casual looks and especially interesting use of materials draws our attention. All styles are easy to wear and easy to match. I'm fuckin' with them all black chukkas most of all right now. But the khaki slip-on's go EXTRA hard too

Vans Vault Fall 2009 Herringbone Pack

From the Vans Vault Fall 2009 Collection we give you a look at the Herringbone Pack. The pack consists of the 106 LX and the 46 LX. Both sneakers come in a nice mix of brown herringbone and matching suede. The lining comes in plaid. All in all two very solid Fall sneakers.

Greedy Genius Ocean Runner "Big Blue"

The latest colorway added to their Ocean Runner collection, the “Big Blue” is set to release for fall / holiday 09.
This shoe consists of all blue Nu-Buck leather with full Grain leather piping.

Gucci Icon: Temporary Pop-Up Sneaker Stores

Just like everyone else out here trying to stay above water during these hard times, Gucci will be opening up a few temporary pop-up shops worldwide in order to increase revenue down another avenue.

The flash sneaker store will touch down in six or seven locations around the world where tastemakers gather, such as Art Basil in Miami Beach, staying open for two or three weeks in each spot. The first stop on the tour will be Crosby Street in SoHo on Oct. 23. Other stops will include London, Berlin, Paris, Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Gucci Icon-Temporary units will feature 18 exclusive sneaker styles — 16 for men and two for women. Incorporating classic Gucci design elements such as the GG logo and a stylized version of the Gucci red-and-green web detail, each shoe has an embroidered “Limited Edition” label inside and a silver or gold metal dog tag hanging from the laces. Leather tags on shoe laces can be customized and embossed with a shopper’s initials.

In addition to the Limited Edition shoes, Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, collaborated with DJ, music producer and sneaker enthusiast Mark Ronson on the design of Gucci Ronson sneakers. A new Gucci Ronson version will be introduced at every leg of the itinerant project. Icon-Temporary sneakers are priced from $500 to $1,400, and Gucci Ronson shoes, $500 to $600.



Personally, I'm not too excited about the collaboration with Ronson (like most of them Hypebeasts that bashed him AND Gucci today LOL)

Lacoste Paris Pack

Lacoste has introduced their new Paris Pack. The pack consists of two colorways of the Imatra low top sneaker. Both feature a mixed upper, made of straw and striped canvas, resulting in two really nice summer sneakers. The pack is now available at Flauge.



Imagine taking these off at the beach in Nantucket, or the Hamptons and then that girl that's been watching you walk back and forth all afternoon looks inside and sees the picture below...

I think these are fresh as hell!!! I may just cop a pair for the cold winter approaching in Chicago. They'd go hard with a Polo sweater too. Khakis and chinos are a must for shoes like this. Maybe a tweed blazer too. Cop them online right here!!

Short Doc: "Soled Out"

Sheldon "Ronin" Smith, a fellow sneaker head and Laced Magazine, an upcoming sneaker magazine presents "Soled Out". Soled Out is a sneaker documentary which is all about the sneaker culture, from the biggest corporations to people camping out overnight and paying ridiculous prices. It is just over 10 minutes but I suggest you watch this, it is very informative to the consumer of these sneakers, which is you.

Taking elements from all three series of the Air Tech Challenge, Nike introduces the Air Tech Challenge Hybrid. Made popular by tennis legend Andre Agassi in the ’90s, the kicks feature Nike’s trademark air technology alongside a nostalgic old school colorway reminiscent of the fourth series Air Tech Challenge model. The shoes are expected to be a 2009 release, stay tuned for more info in the coming months.

J-1's drop Winter....'08-'09!!!

The shoe that started it all, the Jordan 1 in a Black/Red colorup is slated to release next winter as an exclusive to JB Lifestyle accounts. As Sneakerfiles reports, four colorways of the 1 will drop—all clocking in at reasonable price tags under $150. Hard release dates to come soon. Plan ahead.

Grammy DUNKS!!

Huf X Vans.. NICE!!

It looks like the San Francisco based skate shop, HUF, is currently working with footwear makers, Vans, for a new collaboration. Unfortunately there isn't that much information other than the fact that they have chosen the Vans Chukka model for the collaboration sneaker and that there will also be a matching New Era 59Fifty Fitted Cap to go along side the shoes. Guess we'll have just to wait and see!
