The Award Tour 2008 Fall/Winter Look Book

The Award Tour presents it’s Holiday Collection in the form of “The Private Rebellion.” Drawing inspiration from classic Ivy League culture, the brand presents a mature and fresh assortment of shirts, crew-neck sweaters, hoodies, and knit beanies. Taking advantage of a collaboration with past Hypebeast contributor in photographer Devin Christopher, the new collection of clothing is presented in fittingly dramatic fashion on campus at Princeton University. The brand is dedicated to creating clothing for those who live every moment of life to its fullest potential. One glance at the antics on the Award Tour blog and it becomes clear that they follow their own brand initiatives. Based out of New Jersey, The Award Tour is in it’s second year of existence and has seen enormous growth since its introduction. The products are available world wide online and through select retailers viewable on The Award Tour website.

Mishka NYC 2009 Calendar by Ellen Stagg

Mishka NYC keeps you always guessing with their 2009 calendar shot by Ellen Stagg. Ellen Stagg has risen to prominence for her erotic photography involving both herself and others. The shoot was inspired by classic pin-up girl calendars seen in garages and features models such as Joanna Angel, Jelena Jensen and Justine Joli (upon a quick Googling, they’re all predominately porn stars). As a further accompaniment, each pin-up also includes a comic done by Jon Vermilyea who has been a regular mainstay for both Mishka and VICE magazine. Mishka also create a special t-shirt to go alongside the calendar. Both the calendar ($30 USD) and t-shirt ($32 USD) have begun shipping and when purchased together will retail for $50 USD.
