50 Cent Rushed To Hospital After Listening To Fat Joe
This afternoon while in his Manhattan offices, employees say that 50 Cent was listening to Fat Joe's new album, "J.O.S.E. 2" when all the sudden, he collapsed! An ambulance was called, and by the time they arrived, 50 Cent regained consciousness and was complaining of blurred vision and a severe migraine. 50 Cent was rushed to Mt. Sinai hospital at 4:26 pm.
Doctors say after performing a Cat Scan and EKG there seems to be some damage to his auditory cortex, which is the region of the brain that is responsible for processing sound.

Jay Z: "Feelin' It" video
Damn... I ain't even know there WAS a video to this track till I caught it on elitaste earlier... Shit fucked me ALL the way up LOL... Dude, NOBODY can NEVER say Jay Z wasn't the shit since forever!! My dude was on some flashy shit way before the classic ratings and platinum records... And the shit they rented back then- some of these things I'm sure they own nowadays though- was still mad expensive so it carries enough validity to assure that SOMEONE was pitchin' yayo. Not to mention this is one of my favorite songs off of the iconic "Reasonable Doubt".

Cassette Playa x Rockers NYC T-Shirts

Now this is a collaboration that totally makes sense to us. Both Cassette Playa and Rockers NYC have been doing their thing for years, setting themselves clearly apart from everything else out there. Also both are known for bold and colorful graphic t-shirts and therefore seeing them work together on a series of tees seems natural. The t-shirts will be released very soon at colette and other premium retailers.

Nas on the Birth of His New Son, Kelis, Etc...
Nas shows much respect to the legendary Uncle Ralph, performing in Queensbridge on Tuesday and beaming with pride about him and Kelis’ newborn son, Knight.
Now by the looks of this clip, the time was early evening. The news of Kelis’ labor came that morning. But no official birth announcement has been made yet. So I’m not sure if Nas was speaking preemptively. And there were many salacious reports about whether Nas was or was not at the hospital, was or was not welcome there, etc. Which may or may not be true.
Personally, I’ll wait for official word on any of that because the primary issue here is really….ten fingers ten toes. (Snatched from MissInfo)

The Strokes: "Soma"
There was once a point in my youth when I couldn't give a single care in the world about a single thing... When I was living that sort of life, I listened to rock more than anything (I'm a die-hard hip-hop head but I got bored with the game at a point...) and during that era, I came across my favorite rock band- The Strokes... I'm glad I got them in my life.
To this day I remember idolizing them- I wanted to be JUST like Fabrizio for a while- and wanting the lifestyle that they dedicated their music to: women, sex, partying, style, and being a wealthy kid with tons of money to spend it on....
I'm glad I aspired earlier on for that lifestyle, cuz it's quite a pleasure that I can relate to them nowadays.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BASQUIAT!!!
He would've been 48 years old... R.I.P.
(And now... A brief bio via wikipedia...)
Jean-Michel Basquiat (December 22, 1960 – August 12, 1988) was an American artist. He gained popularity first as a graffiti artist in New York City, and then as a successful 1980s-era Neo-expressionist artist. Basquiat's paintings continue to influence modern day artists and command high prices.
