I'm sorry about yesterday folks... I was a tad busy dealing with certain aspects of life and being as responsible as it's required... Like it's expected. So I didn't make it to post but I'm ALWAYS on Twitter!!! So you should follow me =)
Anywhom.... Happy Happy Hour folks!!! Here's my track of choice this evening!!! I couldn't wish you the best without some music to vibe to transitioning into your evening.... So here's "Bucktown" by Smif-N-Wessun. PARTAKE!!!
After hours of anticipation, impatience and lack of sleep the Smokee Robinson mixtape has dropped. On top of that, I'm pretty sure Spitta & Cannon is poppin' bottles in MIA celebrating a victory for the South. Curren$y & Cannonboth have acknowledged that they've twisted up. So enjoy your slumber and have the iPods ready in the AM. Tracklist and download link below.
"While Ayomari & TiRon finish up their upcoming projects (PB&J x Mustard, respectively), the duo bang out a track over some MF DOOM production about the perfect chick. " - 2dopeboyz
I came across this on The Fader's blog and just got mad excited. Outside of the Danger Mouse assisted "Dangerdoom", my favorite project by Doom is his Madvillain project alongside Madlib.
Yeah family. Another mixtape from that dude thatlooks like Tyga but with slightly more tattoos LOL.... I'm still a fan of him and this mixtape only made me more of a fan. Download and burn one while listening.

By now, the rest of the world should have caught up with J. Cole (either from listening to him spit on "BP3" or from knowing of him as the 1st signee to Jay Z's RocNation). Well this is my favorite track off oh his 2nd mixtape, "The Warm Up", his follow=up to the acclaimed "Come Up" mixtape.
This cat is iTunes worthy by all means. For now, I put his rookie skills somewhere between when I first heard mixtape Lupe and early Drake (circa, 2007). I can't wait to see what dude has in store in the future. I just hope his commercial growth won't inspire me to stop being as big of a fan- like I usually do when rappers get too mainstream.
Btw, if anybody knows the track he sampled, please let me know so I can get the original.
I'm pretty sure Kanye made this beat... I just get that feeling. But if not, whoever did, he made a decent "Kanye beat"....
Here's what The Fader had to say:
"Alright, let’s say you’re Consequence. You’re the ultimate G.O.O.D. team player, you happily give Kanye your best lyrics, you never complain when you’re own album gets little support and you never blow up any spots that aren’t meant to be blown. At least that’s how it will be as long as Kanye, John and Hype continue to fly you down to Miami to shoot consumer cam videos with megababes. And free drinks."
Like I said earlier, it'sthe weekend!!! Let's get it poppin'!!! Friday is officially a holiday baby.... Se you out in these Chicago streets!! 2 fingers.
Now throw them 2 fingers down and make that "A"...
I wonder who's writing the cover story.... Better yet, who's doing the shoot. Hopefully it'll be epic. I'm not fully sold on how good this album will be yet, but the buzz is growing heavily!!
Here are a few more tracks off the album to too on your iPod a tad earlier
Yeah... I'm back!! I apologize for not posting for the past few days.... I recently moved to Chicago and I've been handling business with school and my crib.... I'll be back next week full speed ahead. But here's a little something to hold you all over!!
This seemed like a dream collaboration but maybe it was too much of a laidback instrumental for them to spazz out on. I still like the track but I feel as if there was FAR more potential to be reached on the track.
