I'm so in love with this track. This song is from the 1964 album "Getz/Gilberto" by Stan Getz & João Gilberto. The music video is from the 1964 film "Get Yourself a College Girl".... Though I've never seen the flick, I was told that the music video is like an actual scene from the movie.... Now I got a few ideas!!! LOL

Miles Davis: "So What"

Listening to the "Kind Of Blue" album changed my life FOREVER, and a lot of that album's impact on me is based off of this song. I recommend the album for ANY music lover-especially one who is not afraid to cross barriers and listen to jazz.

In September, Legacy Recordings released To Be Free: The Nina Simone Story, a three-cd + dvd collection spanning the legendary singer's career, from her debut on Little Girl Blue to her final recordings on A Single Woman. The dvd makes available for the first time a 1970 documentary of Simone, which is excerpted in the video above.
